Who is Evergreen?

President/Founder
Rebecca is a clinical social worker (MSW) with a background in grief therapy. Along the way, she saw a need for an uplifting and positive voice in bankruptcy and financial counseling. She founded Evergreen Financial Counseling in 2009 with the aim of helping people see brighter days in their future. She enjoys encouraging individuals and families to focus on their strengths and change for the better.

Board Secretary
Amanda is an exceptional advocate and nonprofit specialist. As an MSW, Amanda has worked extensively for New Profit, Inc, a national philanthropic company dedicated to serving the nonprofit sector. She’s also spent time as an Economic Self-Reliance Coordinator for AmeriCorps and has dedicated many hours to working with children and families in financial need.

Board Member
Lindsay is a talented college educator committed to helping migrant farm workers obtain their high school equivalency degrees. As an expert in Spanish translation, Lindsay is currently working with Evergreen to offer courses in both English and Spanish. She brings a positive influence and invaluable perspective to the board.

Board Member
Charlotte is Evergreen’s communications and marketing advisor. She has degrees in both Communications and English Teaching, and has spent time working for a major New York City advertising firm. She helps Evergreen translate it’s aims into successful strategies that resonate with more and more people every day.
